FIA Poznan preparation

The agenda for the standardisation, session at FIA Poznan has been reviewed and agreed. All speakers, but ETP representative are confirmed now.

The way to conduct the interactive session need to to be clarified. The sessions animators (Lyndon and Jean-Charles) will discuss this point over the mailing list. The important point during the session will be to clarify from the potential users (research groups), what is the information of interest from their point of view and how it should be better preented.

Maintenance of information on our webpage

Sections on events, Standard organisations and contributions to standards were updated prior to the meeting.

  • No additional events are foreseen by the participants. Franck reminds that all are more than welcome to update the pages.
  • Jean-Charles suggests to complete the table on standards contributions with information on the status of the standard (standard, pre-standard ...) and also to be more specific on what have been the contributions from the projects (giving link to the deliverable if any ...)
  • The way the information is managed within the wiki of the SOFI project has been shown by Lyndon.
  • As the amount of available information is growing, it is less and less easy to exploit. Lyndon menbtionned 2 options tyhey have been looking at for similar issues in SOFI: semantic-mediawiki or to integrate a plugin directly into the Future Internet portal, so to also increase the visibility.
  • An other conference call will be organised prior to the Poznan event.
